Just a Reminder...

November 10, 2010

Tomorrow is the start of the Gap (includes Old Navy & BR) 30% off sale that will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The sale is only valid for in-store purchase and you can find your coupon here.

A few of my favorites:

Plain black ballerina flat that can be dressed up with handmade shoe embellishments (think fabric or beaded goodies).  I've been looking everywhere for plain black flats, this might be them:

I have this skirt in navy and I love it.  So comfortable and can be dressed up or down.  I might need a second one in grey, hmmm...

I love this sweater dress, and it's price.  Now if only it would get cold enough here to wear it.

Sneak Peek

November 7, 2010

Friday afternoon, I headed over to Nordstom'a to return a few items and make use of my giftcard. Unbeknownst to me, their half yearly sale just began! Luckily, I was finally able to cash in my giftcard for a few items that I really love. Including this:

Jeggings (and the next best thing)

October 26, 2010

Last Friday, I was at my local shopping mall when I discovered that Loft (!!!) had recently opened a new location.  I recently stumbled across their online shop and I love their clothing and fit.  They also happened to be having a 30% off sale so I browsed through all the pretty clothing and came across these:

Denim Leggings (aka Jeggings).  I'll admit, these TERRIFY me, but I was oh-so-close to picking up a pair and trying them on.  They appear look so good on models when paired with a pair of knee-high boots.  Me and my calves tend to not fit into boots, much less with a layer of jeans added in; thus, leggings and jeggings (shudder) seemed to be the only solution to this matter.

Until I saw these on the shelf just above them:

Skinny? Yes.  Skin Tight?  Not quite.  I tried on a pair of petite and regular and for some reason the regular fit so much better everywhere (except in the length, of course).  However, I can stuff them into wear them with these:

Boots that a) fit around both my calves and jeans (!!!) b) are the most comfortable shoes ever.

... and they fit perfectly.  I was so excited, I wore them all weekend.

*Neither Loft, nor Piperlime, nor Nine West has paid me any $$$ or given me any freebies for this post.  I love the products both so much that I just wanted to share my joy with you!

If I had $1,000,000

October 21, 2010

Okay maybe not.  But I do have a gift card that I recently won from the Happyhour with a Housewife's blog, and I'm trying to decide how to spend it.

Shoes are always a great buy in my book:

I'm still trying to figure out how I feel about these:

And I have a new affection for belts:

You I can never have too many cardigans:

Looks like a shopping trip is in order.

Weekend Shopping @ Target

March 16, 2010

Like many of you, I'm sure, I headed out bright and early (um, is 8:30 too early?) on Sunday morning to my nearest Target to scope out the new line of products Liberty has launched.  Unfortunately, the Target closest to me was SERIOUSLY slacking, and a few items (pillows and dining items) were not yet out when I arrived.  I really wanted a set of this set of prep bowls:

It seems they have now either a) sold out or b) (hopefully) have not yet been stocked at the Target locations in my area.  (Insert sad face here)  I'm really hoping they will restock the Liberty products because when I went to Target on Monday (a mere 24 hours after the launch and yes I went to Target two days in a row) many items in addition to the above bowl set were already gone.

Two items I did snatch up a few items.  One of which was this shirt:

OMG the material feels so. good.  It also has a key hole in the front which I wasn't too keen on, but just for grins I tried it on with the hole to the back and I think it looks 100% better.  So, yes, I will probably be wearing the shirt backwards. :)

The other was this scarf/wrap...

...which I have no intention of wearing.  I was just really loving the pattern:

The wrap actually provides a good amount of fabric to work with, so I think there is probably enough yardage for a few throw pillows and maybe a bag of some sort.  We shall see if I'm actually brave enough to cut into this (much) cheaper Liberty print.

Did you shop Liberty this weekend?  What did you think of their products for Target?

Liberty of London for Target

February 17, 2010

(otherwise known as A Dream Come True)
I have long lusted after the gorgeous (and quite expensive) fabrics Liberty produces.

Which is why I was ecstatic to learn that Liberty of London will be debuting a line of products for Target in just 25 days!

Looks like some of those remaining wedding gift cards will soon serve their purpose!  I can't wait to scoop up some of these goodies next month... so, if you're looking for me on March 14th, you know where I'll be!

Is anyone else excited about this fabulous pairing?
